Stephen
Hart
A former junior
fencing champion and also junior shooting Olympic prospect but gave it all up
to study natural history. He has plenty of hands-on experience in the
Rain Forest and is committed to wild-life conservation.
He had his heart
broken when he fell in love as a student and has never really recovered.
He is fiercely loyal to friends, always popular, but makes close friends
slowly and is sceptical about human nature. Demonstrates a passionate
belief that human nature is destroying its own environment through unchecked
industrialisation.

Giant
Arachnid
Creatures
from the Carboniferous swamps of 300 million years
ago. Boosted to these gigantic sizes by the oxygen
rich atmosphere of the Carboniferous era, these primitive
relatives of modern spiders have no web or venom but they do
have two enormous pincers like modern day camel
spiders.
Responsible for wounding a number of people,
after wandering through an anomaly into a seldom used part
of the London Underground, their attacks are not lethal and
despite their large size they shun strong light.
