Hagrid's "half brother Grawp" is a giant who stands sixteen feet tall.  When Hagrid hides Grawp in the Forbidden Forest and then realizes he may have to leave Hogwarts™, he asks Harry, Ron and Hermione to look after Grawp whilst he is away.
