From Corgi and the world of Gerry Anderson comes the Angel Interceptor from the Original Captain Scarlet Supermarionation Series.

Based on the World Army Air Force Viper Jets the Angel Interceptors are armed with air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles as well as a machine gun cannon capable of firing heat seeking shells.

They have the ability of VTOL, vertical take-off and landing, as well as VSTOL, very short take-off and landing.  Flying from cloudbase they are capable of 3000 mph.
