Axis & Allies
Europe 1940

by Avalon Hill Games

Axis & Allies
D-Day 6 June 1944

by Avalon Hill Games

The year is 1940.  France is about to succumb to the unstoppable German armies blitzing through Western Europe.  Italy's armies are poised to attack North Africa, Greece and Southern France.  What remains of the British Army has recently evacuated from Dunkirk.  This island nation is about to find itself standing alone and bracing for an invasion that could come at any moment.

You are in a position to rewrite history.

It is June 6 1944 and you are on the beaches of Normandy, and ahead lies an uncertain future.  The fate of the world hangs in the balance, as you struggle for control over the cities of Cherbourg, St. Lo and Caen.

Savage, quick and decisive D-Day was the major turning point in the European theatre, with liberty itself on the line.

Axis & Allies D-Day accurately captures this dramatic conflict and places you squarely in the middle of one of the greatest battles of the 20th Century.

Blackbeard
The Golden Age of Piracy

by GMT Games

Sid Meier's
Civilization The Board Game

by Fantasy Flight Games

Blackbeard: The Golden Age of Piracy lets you guide the fate of the pirates who sailed the late 17th and early 18th centuries.

Each player takes the role of one or more pirates, attempting to become rich, notorious and feared before (hopefully) retiring and living off his spoils and his reputation.

Taking ships is the easy part, for the seas are treacherous.  Pirates will find British warships, King's Commissioners, and hostile port Governors hindering their progress.

Before you lies a vast bounty of land, ripe for the plucking. Your meagre beginnings will influence the paths you must take. Lead your people well and they will take you to infinite heights of greatness.

Sid Meier's Civilization: The Board Game brings a bestselling computer game series to the tabletop. Players explore the world, improving your technology, building an empire and conquer enemies in this struggle of diplomacy and warfare.

Players start off with a single city, one army figure, and one scout, and from these meagre origins you must forge through the ages and become the greatest civilization in the world.

Maccabees

by Flaster Venture LLC

Matzahkoman

by Flaster Venture LLC

In 164 BC, at the battle against Nicanor, Judah Maccabee’s brother Eleazar brought down the General’s war elephant breaking the military hold of the Seleucid Empire over Israel. Upon that victory, Judah led his Maccabean army to liberate the rest of the land of Israel and reclaim the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

But the Maccabees did not have enough oil to light the menorahs to rededicate the Temple.

Now you must lead a band of Maccabees and acquire enough oil to light the new eight-stemmed menorah called a Channukiah. But beware there are still remnants of the Seleucid army roaming the lands trying to thwart your efforts.

In Ancient Egypt, Moses rose up against the Pharaoh to free the Israelites and deliver them out of Egypt.  Pharaoh refused to let them go and so Moses warned him that ten plagues would befall him if he did not agree.  Finally after the tenth and final plague, Pharaoh ordered Moses to leave.

Help Moses free the slaves and gather resources to make Matzah for the long journey ahead while the ten plagues ravage the land making it all the more difficult and dangerous.
