Time Was
opens its door in Newark
In a time when more and more businesses are migrating their
business to the web it's nice to be able to announce a brand new
real-world shop materializing slap bang in the middle of Newark.
At the beginning of April the 'Time Was' sci-fi and TV memorabilia
shop opened its door to the public at the town's Buttermarket
Shopping Centre.
Time Was will be a familiar name to collectors who make
pilgrimages to toy fairs and collecting events, especially in the
Midlands. It was the success at these shows that prompted Anne and
Jackie Andrews to take the plunge and open their very own
permanent shop. Now collectors can drop and have a look at the
wealth of TV and film related collectables
on offer, including Red Dwarf, Star Wars and a very healthy
selection of Doctor Who merchandise.
The investment of a physical shop doesn't mean that Time Was
has not caught on to the opportunities the Internet has to offer.
Their website, www.timewasshop.co.uk, is a great extension to
their new shop and also lets you know when the Time Was team will
be out and about at those all-important collecting events.
The new shop is situated at Unit 20, The Buttermarket Shopping

We sell quality products from well known manufacturers and problems with
them are very unusual. In the rare event that an item turns out to be
faulty or damaged we offer a full refund provided
that you inform us within 7 days of receipt.
Our
range includes several collector's items and we do our best to package them
well for shipping / postage so that you receive your purchases in perfect
condition.

To save on postage we can
arrange to bring your purchases to a convenient Toy Fair. All you need
